Sooo good! Great view! Great service. Every time we come to town. We come here! Haven't had a bad thing yet!

On our way back from San Francisco, we decided to make a stop at Wooly's in Pismo Beach, and it was a delightful detour. Located right on the Broadwalk, Wooly's offers stunning views of the beach and pier, making it a prime spot for outdoor dining. The restaurant is quite popular, so expect long lines and a bit of a wait to secure a table. You place your order first, receive a number, and then find a table--simple and efficient. Despite the crowd, the staff managed to bring our food promptly and with a smile. We tried a few dishes: * Sourdough Bread Bowl Clam Chowder: While the chowder was creamy, it leaned a bit too starchy for our liking. * Caesar Salad: Fresh and crisp but overly salty. * Steamed Mussels: The highlight of our meal! Cooked with white wine and garlic, the mussels were flavorful and satisfying. What really made the visit memorable was the setting. Dining outdoors with the sunshine on the beach, even with a touch of wind, was unbeatable. There's something special about enjoying a meal with the sound of waves and the sea breeze around you. While the food wasn't exceptional, the overall experience was worth it. Wooly's is an excellent spot to enjoy the beach vibe, making it a worthwhile stop for those traveling along the coast.

We had lunch here and really enjoyed it. We sat outside on the patio overlooking the ocean and had clam chowder in bread bowls with garlic bread, which was very good.

First off this place is pet friendly and you can get a table in their patio. The food is superb. I had the seafood roll as my main entree. I would take that over a lobster roll in other restaurants any day... that's how good it is. The calamari strips are cooked perfectly (tender and not rubbery) along with the fries. Clam chowder is as good as Splash or even better (depends on your preference). Service was quick. We had a group of 10 people and we got our food fairly quickly. The ambiance has a a rustic seafood pier style restaurant bar vibe. Good for groups and casual daytime dates. Food and Service: 5 stars out of 5

Actual: 3.5/5 Here during a weekend trip to pismo & SLO and wow! Great location with beautiful views of the ocean + super convenient spot to stop and grab food while exploring the area. This is a order/pay at the counter and find an open table to sit at type place which works well as spots open up quick. The garlic parmesan fries were to die for. easily the best garlic fries I have ever had, ended up grabbing an order for the drive home the next day because they were THAT good. Also ordered a fried chicken sandwich and fish and chips -- both were decent but didn't blow us away. The sandwich lacked flavor and the fish and chips were a bit oily and soggy. We didn't get to try and drinks but the menu has some really great options! TLDR: great location and order garlic parmesan fries

Beach front, open bar, great food, with a great view, what else could you be looking for when in Pismo? Woolys really is a great spot to check out if your in the are and wanting a solid bite to eat. A local reccomended this spot and it did not disappoint. I ordered the carne asada waffle fries that are baked in a cast iron and I seriously love how crispy the cheese was around the edges of the dish! Huge portion but you are paying $20 bucks for the fries but worth every penny in my opinion. My wife ordered the shrimp po'boy and she loved it. She just wished the shrimp was smaller for a better bite but that's it. Overall, can't wait to come back and check them out. Do your life a favor and swing by for a cold beer or meal. Great fresh food!! Service is pretty fast when they are busy it's a little longer but hey it's fresh so you can't complain. Let's talk "Ambiance"! Best view on the beach to have a cold drink or some good food and amazing place to catch the sunset
